Based on the life of the author and members of her tribe, these stories provide a revealing glimpse into the world of the Dakota-Sioux at the turn of the last century. "There is no great; there is no small; in the mind that causeth all." Zitkala-Sa The audiobook is divided into two volumes. Volume One is based on the experiences of the author, and describes a young girl growing up in a changing environment. Volume Two consists of revealing stories about other members of her tribe. Zitkala-Sa (Gertrude Bonnin) was a beautiful Dakota-Sioux Indian. She was a member of the Woman's National Foundation, League of American Pen-Women, and the Washington Salon. Through lectures and stories such as "Old Indian Legends" and "Americanize The First American," she tried to make the public aware of Dakota-Sioux Indians, their culture and their plight. Right out of college with a degree in drama and a minor in voice performance, Nancy Lee worked as a disco DJ in Columbia, SC (after all, it was 1975). After briefly doing the "hustle," she landed her first radio job as an on-air personality. Nancy has been in radio, in almost every capacity, for 30 years. She has her own morning show on WDDV AM radio, and also does voice-over work for TV, radio, and corporations. She is now happily adding audiobooks to her repertoire.

Dictated through the mediumship of J.L. Kennon, Eros Urides describes his beautiful Martian homeworld where loving Martians, living the Christ-Life, enjoy a perfect Utopian Socialist Society. Earth is becoming a menace to neighboring planets. The Martians are concerned. But rather than send invading fleets of heat-ray wielding giant tripods, the Martians want to help. Eros Urides, a dead Martian from the City of Urid (which is located adjacent to a reservoir just north of the equator), has sent his spirit as an envoy, to enlighten the millions of God's children on Earth who are enthralled in darkness. Mr. J.L. Kennon wrote the actual book, but it was the Martian Eros Urides who dictated the content. Eros even helped Mr. Kennon, through short trances, experience brief clairvoyant visions of Mars. While pursuing studies in speech and acting, Peter Jahns did a current events program for the University of Connecticut campus radio station. In the Army, he hosted a program on the AFN in Munich, Germany. Back in the States, he focused on a making radio his career because, "It paid more than having a Screen Actors Guild Card".
Legendary tales of the lives of famous people and historic episodes. Of these fifty stories, some have historical value, some are useful as giving point to certain great moral truths, and others are intended only to amuse. A few of these stories are from very ancient sources and are current in the literature of many lands, while many of more recent origin have come to us through the ballads and folk tales of the English people. Nearly all are frequently alluded to in poetry and prose. James Baldwin was born in 1841 and died in 1925. For eighteen years he held the post of superintendent of the graded schools in Indiana, and afterwards began editing and writing educational books of his own. Beginning in 1882, with The Story of Siegfried, he went on to write more than fifty others. His influence was widely felt because at one time it was estimated that of all the school books in use in the United States, over HALF had been written or edited by him. Cliff Roles, after a career promoting famous rock stars, moved to the US five years ago from Germany. An actor in demand in Sarasota, FL, he also voices commercials, hosts Talk of the Sun Coast on WSLR Community Radio, writes monthly for SCENE Magazine, and is the Master of Ceremonies for countless community events & fund raisers.
